The ISN Training & ADL Competence Center
The ISN’s Training and ADL Competence Center (TACC) is made up of a team of experienced professionals who promote and support technology-enhanced education, primarily in the defense and security sectors. The products and services provided by the TACC team are designed to address the needs of any and all organizations working in these areas worldwide.
To support interoperable technology-based education, the ISN TACC uses and promotes the e-learning standards of the US Advanced Distributed Learning (ADL) Initiative. Since 1999, the TACC has also led the ADL Working Group, a collection of distributed learning professionals who benefit from joint Swiss-US contributions to the Partnership for Peace Consortium. Finally, the Team, in collaboration with ETH LET, hosts a public learning platform which features a wide range of free defense and security-related content.
