State of Play of Nuclear Disarmament

In this audio presentation from the 2013 International Security Forum, three luminaries discuss the findings of the Centre for Nuclear Non-proliferation's report, "Nuclear Weapons: The State of Play." Both the report and the panel participants worry that some global trends are actually moving away from nuclear disarmament and non-proliferation rather than toward them. (Note: The speakers include Gareth Evans, who is the Chancellor of the Australian National University in Canberra and President Emeritus at the ICG; Ambassador Jayantha Dhanapala, who is a former UN Under-Secretary-General for Disarmament Affairs, and Lord Desmond Browne, who is a former UK Defence Secretary.)
