Next Steps in Nuclear Disarmament: Where Do We Go From Here?

In this audio presentation from the 2013 International Security Forum, four experts discuss the challenges and opportunities linked to future nuclear disarmament negotiations. Two of the more obvious challenges include 1) brokering a suitable agreement between the US and Russia on strategic missile defenses, and 2) formalizing a next-step pact on non-strategic nuclear forces. (Note: The speakers include Angela Kane from the United Nations Office for Disarmament Affairs; Anatoly Antonov, who is the Russian Federation's Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs; Steven Pifer from the Brookings Institution, and Karl-Heinz Kamp from the NATO Defense College.)
