India-ASEAN Trade Profile
This paper examines the India-ASEAN trade profile. The author points out that there has been a significant growth in bilateral trade between the ASEAN and India in the last decade. India has been keen to leverage the advantages of closer linkages with the ASEAN countries, and a trade in goods agreement was signed in 2010. This is a first step towards the envisaged ASEAN-India Free Trade Area.
