Decade of Diplomacy: Negotiations with Iran and North Korea and the Future of Nuclear Nonproliferation
The overall purpose of this study is to contribute to the understanding of diplomatic strategies as a means for confronting determined nuclear proliferators. The specific case studies examined here in a comparative framework are the nuclear programs of Iran and North Korea. The analysis focuses on the diplomatic strategies and initiatives that have been implemented by strong international actors in their attempts to curb the military intentions of both Iran and North Korea over the past decade.
