India’s Cabinet Reshuffle: Paucity of Talent, Plethora of Challenges
This paper addresses the changes in India’s cabinet in the end of July 2012. Concentrating on the Chidambaram’s induction as Finance Minister that might be "a case of too little, too late for the Congress-led federal government", the author argues that the government has less than two years before the next general elections to show concrete results and dispel the widespread gloom that policy paralysis has set in.
