Can Russia Reform? Economic, Political, and Military Perspectives
This collection of papers assesses Russia's political system, economy, and armed forces and draws conclusions concerning the nature and trajectory of these institutions. It discusses the questions concerning the nature of the state and the possibilities for economic and military reform in a country that deliberately tries to remain opaque to foreign observers despite its many changes.
