Undermining Deterrence? The Non State Actors and India’s Nuclear Doctrine
This brief discusses the implications of the proliferation of nuclear weapons and technology for India. The authors contend that the conceptual and contextual frameworks of nuclear deterrence are premised on the Cold War dynamics, which are neither appropriate nor useful to India.
