AJCR Volume 5 No. 2, 2005
This issue of the African Journal on Conflict Resolution (AJCR) discusses cases of conflict management and mitigation in selected African countries. It reviews the Democratic Republic of Congo's (DRC) civil war, northern Uganda's conflict with the Lord's Resistance Army (LRA), and the prospects for eradicating war in Africa. Additional chapters explore civil-military coordination in UN peace operations and Zulu discursive methods for expressing social discontent.
