Current Trends in Islamist Ideology: Volume 3
This publication examines trends of Islamist ideology and strategy. It demonstrates the main axes of ideological discussion within Islamism and radical Islam. The authors focus on the broader Middle East and offer analyses of Islamist groups and terrorist threats in India, Egypt, Bangladesh, Malaysia and France. Some chapters also address the activities of al-Qaida, especially in Iraq, and focus on disputes between leading figures within the al-Qaida movement.
