Impact of the Economic Crisis and Food and Fuel Price Volatility on Children and Women in Kazakhstan
This report discusses what could be done in Kazakhstan to address the humanitarian consequences of the financial crisis. The focus is on preventing an increase in poverty, and reforming policy and institutions to enable better implementation of poverty reduction strategies and bring Kazakhstan into line with its GDP potential.
