NUPI Forum for Development Studies No. 2 – 1998
This publication discusses several aspects of development with a main focus on Africa. It examines development research and practical development strategies such as trade policy. Further subjects such as student protests and child labor are elaborated upon. Some chapters also analyze agriculture and environmental degradation in the Himalaya region, as well as Islamic banking and economic development in Muslim countries.
