Managing Defense Transformation in Small and Medium-Sized NATO-Countries
This paper analyzes the dimensions of defense transformation in small and medium-sized countries from the perspectives of willingness and affordability. It outlines the transformation efforts in different European countries with a focus on their military capabilities, examines its economic dimension and identifies the advantages and disadvantages of defense transformation. The author points to the dialectical aspect of defense transformation.
