Power Shortages in India's Southern Region
Challenges for Growth
This paper argues that neglect of India's Southern Region in power generation and transmission facilities is affecting the region's growth potential. The gap between power supply and demand has widened in the Southern Region as it has been growing faster than the rest of the economy.
