IGES Policy Briefs
The Institute for Global Environmental Strategies (IGES) is a research institute that conducts pragmatic and innovative strategic policy research to support sustainable development in the Asia-Pacific region. It was established in 1998 by an initiative of the Japanese government. The IGES Policy Briefs present the Institute's research as policy proposals for government agencies, international organizations, businesses, NGOs and others all over the world. They raise the latest issues concerning sustainable development and provide policy options.
