Irregular Immigration and the Spanish Maritime Border
The Role of Intelligence
This paper examines migration as a global phenomenon, intrinsically related to the process of globalization in both its cause and effect. The author argues that globalization is changing the circles in which states move and the ways in which states need to respond to the challenge of international, and often illegal, migration. The author examines the Spanish case in more detail.
