Central Asia's Growing Partnership with China

This paper discusses the economic, political and geopolitical impact of China's presence in Central Asia, and its implications for the EU. The author highlights regional economic readjustment in favor of Beijing, reviews the Russia-China-EU triangle in Central Asia and offers recommendations for EU policymakers. He concludes that despite their differences, China and the EU could collaborate in Central Asia in specific areas.
