Regional Implications of the Conflict in Syria: A View From Israel
This analysis begins by emphasizing that the revolutionary situation witnessed in Syria renders intelligent prediction difficult, if not downright risky. Accordingly, unpredictable events, complications and even accidents that could possibly trigger a broader international dimension. Taking into consideration that such contingencies are virtually impossible to plan for, the author focuses on the following aspects: international intervention, armed intervention, regional conflict, the Israel perspective, and the Iran factor.
