Conflict in Kyrgyzstan?
The author of this paper argues that various phenomena within certain Soviet successor states emphasize the need to reevaluate the definition of conflict, shifting the focus from process to outcome. The paper particularly analyzes the case of the Russian minority in Kyrgyzstan and bases its reasoning on the evaluation of interviews with people belonging to the Russian minorities in both Kyrgyzstan and Latvia.
