National Discourse in Lithuania and the Lithuanian Government’s Policy Towards National Minorities
Lithuania has not developed a coherent policy towards national minorities, with charges of discrimination and calls for assimilation being leveled at the government. The issue of national minorities, their rights and the role they should play in Lithuania has been debated more and more frequently in recent years.
