Nuclear Security: What Else Can Australia Do?

This brief examines nuclear security in Asia and evaluates Australia's nuclear security agenda of arms control, non-proliferation and disarmament. The author argues that Australia should support the "realistic idealist" push for nuclear disarmament and further invigorate its nuclear diplomacy by supporting an Asian initiative to pursue regional nuclear restraint and non-proliferation as well as a united regional voice in global forums.
