From Escalation to Engagement: How to Avoid War
This Atlantic Memo discusses the tension between Iran and the West. The contributors of Atlantic Community's Iran theme week agreed that Europe and the United States must address the conflict in a fundamental and comprehensive manner, as opposed to simply military means. This Atlantic Memo summarizes recommendations for breaking the cycle of mistrust and escalation which has usually prevailed between the foreign decision makers of Iran, Europe and the United States.
