This book discusses the role of intergovernmental organizations (IGOs) in promoting security sector reform and governance (SSR/G). It looks at a selection of organizations that have taken the lead in the SSR/G field and/or have the potential for significantly developing their agendas such as the OECD, the EU and NATO.
