Iran's Nuclear Impasse: Breaking the Deadlock
This report assesses whether it is possible to reach a comprehensive agreement to end the impasse surrounding Iran's nuclear program. It highlights some of the key features of a potential deal between the E3+3 (China, France, Germany, Russia, the UK and US) and Iran. Furthermore, it identifies the main obstacles to productive negotiations and provides recommendations for re-thinking and re-orienting the current approach. The authors conclude that a breakthrough is possible if there is such a change of approach to negotiations.
