NUPI Forum for Development Studies No. 1 – 2001
This paper includes seven articles on the effects of multiparty politics and democratization in sub-Saharan Africa. The first article is a quantitative approach to the economic impact of democratization and compares the government performance of the different sub-Saharan countries. The other articles provide critical reflections on this approach.
