Opposition Alliances and Democratization in Egypt
This publication provides a summary of a conference on Egypt's political future, including Egyptian political leaders, American academics and US democracy-promoters. The conference explored the prospects for enhancing political cooperation across the ideological and religious divide in the Egyptian political arena. It also highlighted the potential to build bridges of cooperation among a new generation of political activists.
