Serbia Before the Second Round of Presidential Elections and the Establishment of a New Government
The results of the parliamentary election in Serbia in May 2012 will not fundamentally change the political scene in the country, nor the pro-Western course of its government. However, the outcome of the second round of the presidential election, may influence talks with the EU and dialog with Kosovo. Regardless of the result of the election, the EU should continue its efforts to start accession negotiations with Serbia.
