This issue of the African Journal on Conflict Resolution (AJCR) discusses conflict mitigation and resolution strategies, as well as international criminal law proceedings in selected African countries. It reviews the case against former Liberian president Charles Taylor and explores the International Criminal Court's (ICC) activities in Uganda. It also examines alternative approaches to peace building and labor-management dispute resolution in South Africa.
