Indonesia in India’s Look East Policy
This brief examines the possibilities to strengthen cooperation between Indonesia and India. India views Indonesia as a strategic partner that can play an important role in its Look East Policy. The author looks at Indonesia's role in India's policies and strategies in ASEAN, their potential to work together to promote democracy in Asia, how they face growing threats of terrorism, the promotion of higher education and cultural exchanges, as well as their defense and economic cooperation.
