Preventing Conflicts in Africa
Early Warning and Response
On April 27, 2012, the International Peace Institute (IPI) hosted a roundtable discussion entitled “Preventing Conflicts in Africa: The Role of Early Warning and Response Systems,”. The discussion was organized in partnership with the Permanent Missions of South Africa and Azerbaijan to the United Nations. This report summarizes the key points that emerged from the meeting.
