Central Asia-Caucasus Analyst Vol 13, No 17
This issue of the Central Asia-Caucasus Analyst includes analytical articles and field reports on security issues facing the Central Asia-Caucasus region in September 2011. The analytical articles examine railroad construction in Azerbaijan; Azerbaijan gas exports to Ukraine; the role of Islamic converts in terrorism in the North Caucasus; and Chinese concerns over potential political upheaval in Central Asia's Muslim-majority countries. In addition, some shorter field reports provide accounts of a gas discovery in Azerbaijan; Iran's growing influence on Tajikistan; WTO negotiations between Russia and Georgia; and electoral law in Kyrgyzstan.
