Accelerating India's “Look West Policy” in the Gulf
This brief looks at India's Look West policy and its endeavours for deeper engagement with the Gulf region. India has expressed its desire to engage the Gulf region in all possible new sectors while, at the same time, strengthening the all-important energy and trade ties between the two. The author examines the exchange of visits, India's priorities and the reaction of the Gulf countries.
