After August 2008: Consequences of the Russian-Georgian War
This paper discusses the 2008 war between Russia and Georgia. The authors review developments in the international arena and domestic political events in key countries involved in the conflict. They also assess the economic, political and environmental consequences of the conflict in the countries of the Caucasian region and discuss its effects on the international order.
