This report focuses on cooperation in civil protection and looks at institutional cooperation arrangements at the intergovernmental/supranational level. It explores European Union mechanisms for protection with a focus on the tools that aim to facilitate coordination and cooperation. It also examines the civil protection system of Spain and the UK.
