Euroscepticism Finds Fertile Ground in the Dutch Parliament
In this commentary, the author argues that public debates about the EU have come too late in the Netherlands, and have been conducted with insufficient depth. As a result, the Dutch public has remained ill-informed and has been left with feelings of uncertainty, for example about whether their taxes are being wasted on Greece and on an ineffective EU budget.
