From Protagonist to Pragmatist: Political Leadership in Societies in Transition
This paper examines the impact of political leadership on societies in transition. Based on the case studies of Northern Ireland, South Africa and Israel/Palestine, the research examines how political leadership has been directly tied to the conflicts as well as the peace processes and patterns of political transition in those countries.
