The Middle East Institute (MEI) focuses on promoting knowledge about the Middle East among the US public, policymakers, scholars and the media. MEI provides a forum for civil debate to strengthen understanding between the peoples and governments of the Middle East and the US. MEI Viewpoints are a moderated dialogue between experts expressing differing opinions on a topic of contemporary relevance.
