New Economic School (NES)

The New Economic School (NES) is an independent research institute and economics education center that works in partnership with the Central Economic Mathematics Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences (CEMI). The core program at the organization is the study of Transforming Government in Economies in Transition (GET). Other areas of interest include macroeconomic stabilization, financial industrial groups, banking and financial markets, fiscal federalism, poverty, corruption and the environment.
