Knowledge for Business (TNO) is a Dutch scientific research and service provider that integrates and applies knowledge from a variety of sources to generate creative and practicable innovations. The organization encourages the effective interplay of knowledge areas to provide new products, services and processes, fully customised for business and government. It's core areas of interest are: quality of life; defense, security and safety; science and industry; built environment and geosciences; information and communication technology. The TNO also participates in a large number of projects within the EU's R&D program.
