The International Development Law Organization (IDLO) provides resources, tools and professional skills to establish or strengthen the rule of law and good governance practices in developing countries, countries in economic transition and those emerging from armed conflict. It works with judicial and legal professionals, institutions, governmental and non-governmental organizations toward achieving five main strategic objectives that contribute directly to development: national strategies and frameworks, legal empowerment, global challenges, networks, and knowledge generation.
