Global Voices
Global Voices is a community of more than 200 bloggers around the world who work together to publish translations and reports from blogs and citizen media everywhere. They focus on voices that are not ordinarily heard in international mainstream media. In addition to the main newsroom site, Global Voices includes three other sections: Rising Voices, which focuses on digital divide issues; Global Voices Advocacy, which reports on Internet censorship and online freedom of speech; and Lingua, which translates the main newsroom's English-language content into over 20 languages. Global Voices is incorporated in the Netherlands as Stichting Global Voices, a nonprofit foundation.
