Institute of Balkan Studies
The Institute of Balkan Studies focuses on the historical and contemporary development of the Balkan states as well as on issues related to their cultural, demographic, and linguistic heritage. The Institute has organized a number of conferences, symposia, and roundtables on the history, literature and culture of the Balkans and the Mediterranean.
