NATO Not Prepared for Comprehensive Approach

Given NATO's financial constraints, its 'comprehensive approach' to crisis management has become little more than a "verbal exercise," according to Andrew Michta from the German Marshall Fund of the United States. Eastern Alliance members in particular, he argues, are now far more concerned with traditional security threats than with fragile states in far-flung places.
