Swiss Experiences in Peace Mediation, Part Two
In part two of this two-part series, Dr Simon Mason, a senior researcher at the Center for Security Studies, discusses peace mediation. He describes the mechanics of the early phases of mediation, the importance of building trust between conflict parties, and some of the related challenges post-conflict societies face. In addition, he shares some lessons-learned from Switzerland's mediation experiences.
