ISN Security Watch was first replaced by ISN Insights in November 2010 and then by the ISN Editorial Plan in November 2011. The latter provides a structured roadmap for the ISN staff to explore major international relations issues and trends, with a particular emphasis on structural factors, shifting power dynamics and the impact they both have on particular problems today.
Much like our collected ISN Insights, our Editorial Plan entries also highlight articles from our extensive Digital Library holdings on whatever the topic of the day might be. They include previous news articles and the latest publications from our extensive partner network, thereby connecting us all to a broad spectrum of information and perspectives on the core issues impacting international relations and security studies.
In closing, it is important to note that although our dominant focus is on the Editorial Plan, we at the ISN will periodically continue to publish ISN Insights and original material provided by up-and-coming researchers, academics, policymakers and journalists that supplement our own efforts.
