Council on Foreign Relations (CFR)
Founded in 1921, the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) is an independent, national membership organization and a non-partisan center for scholars. It is dedicated to producing and disseminating ideas so that individual and corporate members, as well as policymakers, journalists, students and interested citizens in the US and other countries, can better understand the world and the foreign policy choices facing the US and other governments. The Council on Foreign Relations is also home to a highly regarded CFR Think Tank, whose fellows conduct research on international subjects ranging from national security to children’s education.
