ISN conducts OSINT training at the European Defence Agency – The ISN continues to support the training needs of EU defence and security professionals by participating in a series of OSINT training programs at the European Defence Agency.
ISN joins the VIRTUOSO consortium – The ISN joins a consortium of 18 organizations on an FP7-funded security program intended to improve OSINT collaboration across the European Union.
ISN e-Learning launches new ILIAS SCORM Editor – ISN e-Learning launches the ILIAS SCORM Editor for the collaborative production of highly interactive and state-of-the-art e-learning content. The open-source solution supports the development of online-courses to the established SCORM standard of interoperability.
10 Year Anniversary of the PfPC ADL Working Group – The Advanced Distributed Learning Working Group (ADL WG) of the Partnership for Peace Consortium celebrates it’s 10 year anniversary. The international group, strongly supported and chaired by the ISN, has produced more than 700 hours of e-Learning for the defense and security policy education.
Launch of social media activities – To increase interaction with its users and spread the breadth and depth of its information even further the ISN launched its social media initiative. The ISN namely relaunched the ISN Blog where its staff members share ideas and interesting snippets on international relations, foreign and security policy. The Blog also offers the latest information on what's happening at the ISN. In addition, the ISN set up a twitter account and attracted over 200 followers in only a few months, namely research institutions, think tanks and IR professionals. The same is true for the ISN's facebook fan page that over 600 people joined to date.
