Following last week's examination of the evolution of the international economic and financial system, this dossier focuses on its interaction with development policies. We outline how those not only address economic wellbeing, but increasingly focus on human rights and environmental sustainability. This provides the basis for case studies and an overview of the challenges facing policymakers as the developing world continues to contribute to the development agenda.
