Black Code: Inside the Battle for Cyberspace
This video features a panel discussion on the numerous threats present in cyberspace and their potential impact on civil society, governments, and even on the ability to establish global-level Internet governance. The discussion's emphasis, however, isn't all negative -- it also stresses some of the positives of the Internet, including helping spread democratic governance around the world. (Note: The panel participants include Ronald Deibert, who is the Director of the Canada Centre for Global Security Studies at the University of Toronto; Leslie Harris, who is the President and CEO of the Center for Democracy and Technology; and Harvey Rishikof, who is the Chair of the Advisory Committee to the American Bar Association's Standing Committee on Law and National Security.)
