Managing Tensions in the South China Sea: Significance of the South China Sea Dispute
The three experts in this video attempt to put the South China Sea region within a generalized context. They do so by examining it from a geostrategic and geopolitical point of view as well as by looking at the economic factors, such as energy and fisheries, that influence the area. (Note: The speakers include Dr Patrick Cronin, from the Center for a New American Security's Asia-Pacific Security Program; Alexander Metelitsa from the US Department of Energy; and Murray Hiebert from CSIS.)
